Volunteering Prior to the Event

To make this event a success, many people donate their time and talents. This includes everything from overall planning, advertising and registration, to posting flyers and much more. Ask your friends and family to join in! If you would like to help out please email us and we will get back to you with in 2-3 days with specifics. Volunteers are needed not only on event day but also for the numerous weeks leading up to the event. We are grateful to all who help out!!!

Volunteer Roles

Volunteer subcommittees needed prior to the event

Public Relations/Support - Recruit participants, assist with goodie bag filling.

Sponsorships/Donations - Secure Raffle and or Silent Auction Items, sponsorships from employers and rally employer teams together to participate at the event.

Community Outreach - Post provided literature in the area surrounding the Hope & Hearts Run/Walk at stores, schools, churches, doctors offices, high school run teams, college running teams, etc. (Posters can be mailed to you upon request by emailing april@hopeandheartsrun.org).

Volunteer Coordinator - Coordinate Volunteer Crews the day of the event to help with execution.
